Gomoku, also known as “Five in a Row” is a classic strategy game that is known in many countries around the world.
Each player takes it in turn to place their own piece.
Whoever gets 5 pieces in a row in any of the horizontal, vertical or diagonal directions wins.




Black always goes first.
It has been proven that the regular version of Gomoku can always be won by black with perfect play.
My version is beatable with careful play.
