Turtle Fun - Lesson Twenty

If you've come straight here from the last lesson, restart Microworlds to get back to scratch.
Now what I want is a turtle, t1, 200 to the left and a turtle, t2, 200 steps to the right, both facing up. Check.

Time for t1 to spin out of control with the new word forever. Try this (but try to picture what will happen first): t1, forever [forward 2 right 1]
And now we can tell t2 to head towards t1 like this: t2, towards "t1
or for even more fun: t2, forever [towards "t1 forward 1]
Type stopall to give the turtles a rest.

Exercise 36 Put all the above into a procedure called chase1 so you can easily repeat it all. Check.

You can still talk to the turtles even while the chase is on.
Type t1, forward 100 from time to time and watch the fun.

Exercise 37 There is an old puzzle called The Amorous Turtles. There are four turtles at the corners of a square. Each turtle heads towards its neighbour. What path do the turtles follow? Use your turtles to make this happen. Answer.
